This is an Oryoki set as used by Zen monks. The name signifies 'just enough', relating to the size of the bowls which is just enough for one meal. Chopsticks and a spoon are included, as well as a spatula, which is used for cleaning the bowls and when wrapping the set in a piece of cloth. All pieces are made traditionally of domestic wood and original Urushi, only the size has been adapted to contemporary hand sizes. An extremely fine piece of craftsmanship, which can be used forever.
